Paper, pencil and silence — where it all began

As a child, I would disappear for hours, creating my own little universe on a blank page with lines, colors, and patterns. By the time I was a teenager, I already knew that graphic design and visual expression were what truly spoke to me. Still, like many others, I chose a different path first. For a long time, I simply observed — collecting experiences, colors, and feelings — all while becoming more certain that I wanted to create.

Building a foundation in design

Eventually, I found my way to the Hollóka Graphic Studio, where I built a solid foundation in design. That’s where I learned to turn raw intuition into a conscious visual language — to transform what I felt into something others could see and understand.

The creative world has always called me back. Even when I didn’t have time to draw or wasn’t working in design, my eyes constantly sought out shapes, typefaces, and color harmony in everything. Eventually, I became a freelance graphic designer — a decision that felt like coming home.

Moving to Cyprus: a new home, a new inspiration

A few years ago, I moved to Cyprus. This island didn’t just give me a new home — it brought new inspiration into my life. Its breathtaking nature, deep blue sea, historic towns, and Mediterranean lifestyle all influence my work. The vibrant colors and rich cultural heritage of Cyprus constantly fill me with ideas that naturally find their way into my designs.

Here, I’ve truly learned to slow down, pay attention, and allow myself to do what I love most.

Why I started this graphic design blog

I started this blog to share my passion for graphic design — and to offer useful, inspiring content for anyone curious about this fascinating world. You’ll find posts about the latest design trends, visual communication tips and tricks, as well as personal stories from my own branding and logo design projects (and others too).

And of course, I want to bring you a taste of Cyprus — its beauty, its charm, and how this special place continues to shape my creative process day by day.

Designing with purpose

Whether I’m creating a brand identity, designing custom logos, or developing unique wedding invitations, Cyprus has become my personal design studio — a place where inspiration and creation go hand in hand.

I believe that being a freelance designer isn’t just about daily tasks and technical solutions. It’s about the joy of creating — through the most diverse projects. Designing a brand or an invitation isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to tell stories through images and craft a visual identity that truly reflects each client’s world.
